Arrive into Honolulu Airport.

Collect your bags and head to your private car waiting for you.  Arrive to your hotel, Moana Surfrider, and check in.  If your room is not ready, leave your bags with the bell desk and head out for a nice walk around.  Grab some lunch and unwind from your plane ride with a little sun and sand on Waikiki beach.  Head back to your hotel and enjoy dinner and the hotel and turn in early.

Visit Pearl Harbor  & Honolulu’s Chinatown.

You will be heading over the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor with your tickets that are already reserved in your package.  You will skip the lines and head straight to the memorial. Spend a few hours taking in the somber part of history.  On your way back, stop in Chinatown for lunch and browse its trendy boutiques . For dinner tonight, go local. Head to the Highway Inn  for kalua pig, laulau, pipikaula, and poi.

Visit the North Shore.

After some breakfast at your hotel, you will head to North Shore.  Stop in the quaint town of Haleiwa for a pineapple-lilikoi-mango treat at Matsumoto Shave Ice , and then grab a picnic lunch from Beet Box Café . Pick one of the gorgeous North Shore beaches for a day of swimming and sunbathing.

Waimea Beach Park is a favorite, no matter the season. In the winter, if the waves are pumping and conditions are right, head to Pipeline and watch pro surfers ride this tube-like wave over razor-sharp reef. As you make your way back south, hit the shrimp trucks at Kahuku . While there’s still daylight, take the longer coastal road back into Honolulu. On the way back to Waikiki, stop at Town  or 12th Ave Grill for dinner.

This is a quiet day to relax at your hotel and enjoy the Moana Lani Spa and sit by the pool or head down to Waikiki beach.  You could head over to the Polynesian Cultural Center too.

Surf in Waikiki, Glimpse Historic Honolulu & Experience Hawaiian Culture

Waikiki has great waves for learning. Take an early-morning surf lesson  and you’ll be up on your board in no time.  Ono Seafood makes a great post-surf meal. Then head to downtown Honolulu to see some of the city’s historic sites, including the Iolani Palace  and Kawaiahao Church. Spend the afternoon at the Bishop Museum  to immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture. Head up to Puu Ualakaa State Park to watch the sunset over Honolulu. For dinner, get a taste of Honolulu’s spectacular Japanese cuisine at Izakaya Gaku .

Relax at Kailua Beach.

On your last full day on Oahu, travel over the Pali Highway to the windward side of the island and spend a day at Kailua Beach .

Have a lazy morning.

Your flight leaves midday so sleep in, have a late breakfast before checking out around 11am to head to airport.
