A Bit About Me

Hi,

I’m Kelsey, and I’m so glad you’re here! For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep sense of adventure, some may even call me a restless thrill seeker ;). I grew up in San Diego, California, where my parents sparked my wanderlust with weekend road trips and spontaneous day trips to Disneyland. By the time I was ten, I’d already visited Disneyland and Las Vegas more times than most people do in a lifetime. As I grew, so did the distances we traveled and I quickly fell in love with the feeling of discovering new places. At age thirteen, my family began taking annual trips to Hawaii, which instantly captured my heart. Despite my love for the islands, my passion for snowboarding took me to South Lake Tahoe in my early twenties. I spent a few winter seasons there, but the pull of Hawaii never faded. At 25 I finally made the decision to move to Oahu, where I stayed for four amazing years. I met my now-husband during that time and we have two spunky little girls. As much as I love exploring new places, I also love getting to know the places that capture me. The yearning to experience a new place as a local has led me to move many times. Besides San Diego, South Lake Tahoe and Oahu; I have also lived in Newport Beach, CA, Sandpoint, ID, Saint Augustine, FL and currently Boise, ID.

In my early twenties, I also fed my wanderlust by backpacking through Europe twice, each time immersing myself in different cultures and experiences. These trips solidified my love for travel and experiencing life from a different point of view. Since having kids, our travels have remained domestic, including multiple cross country road trips. Both my two year old and four year old already have the travel bug. They absolutely thrive on an airplane, long road trip or in a hotel room. It has always been my dream to be a travel agent and now I have a whole new passion for helping families, especially those with young children, plan adventures that are both exciting and manageable. I understand the challenges that come with traveling as a family, and hope to encourage more families to take the trip anyways.

If I love traveling, I really really love planning. Scoring that must-visit dinner reservation or finding the hotel with the perfect amount of beds gives me as much of a thrill as throwing my hands up on Space Mountain with my eyes closed. I take pride in my meticulous attention to detail and crafting personalized itineraries to fit your family's needs. Let me do the groundwork to ensure your trip is seamless and unforgettable for all the right reasons.
