What I Ate at Halloween Horror Nights 2026: Every Item Ranked 1 to 10

One of my favorite parts of any Halloween Horror Nights visit is working through the specialty food and drink menu, and this year's lineup did not disappoint. Here's everything I tried during my visit to Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 35, ranked on a scale of 1 to 10 so you know exactly what's worth tracking down.

CarnEvil Smash Tacos: 10/10

Located at Jack's Surplus, these are a cheeseburger smashed into taco form, loaded with American cheese, lettuce, pickles, secret sauce, and sesame seeds. Believe the hype on this one. It's easily the standout item of the night and worth seeking out first before the line builds.

Chow's Southern BBQ Eggrolls: 10/10

Found at the Sinners booth, these crispy eggrolls are stuffed with smoky pulled pork, bbq sauce, and cabbage. Another perfect score from me. If you're doing the Sinners haunted house, grab one of these on your way past the booth.

Bloody Bones: 6/10

Served at Meetz Meats, these are smoked, charred bbq ribs topped with crispy jalapeno pieces. They weren't bad, just not my favorite of the night. Fair warning if you're sensitive to spice: the jalapeno topping brings real heat.

The Green Vegan Pizza Skull: 7/10

This pastry from the Fearful Fare booth is stuffed with vegan Italian sausage, marinara, and vegan mozzarella cheese. It's a genuinely creative item, and you would never guess it's vegan just by tasting it.

Prince of Darkness Cake: 8/10

Tied to the Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness house, this dessert is three tiers of mini carrot cake with cream cheese mousse, topped with a chocolate bat. The cake itself was delicious, and the chocolate shell was thin and crunchy in the best way. Just be aware that it took us a bit to actually track this one down.

Bat-Tea Mocktail: 8/10

Grabbed from the Ozzy Osbourne Bar, this mocktail combines lime, unsweetened tea, grenadine, and ginger beer, finished with a candy rock stick. It's a tart iced tea with a berry-like sweetness, a little bubble, and a spicy ginger finish. Not too sweet, and genuinely fun to drink while walking between houses.
